If I had to select a greatest comic I made this year, it would be this one

2009 is dead. Sure, it’s still twitching, the last energy in it’s body unloading as it refuses to stop haunting me quite yet. But eventually, very soon, this fucked up year will be behind me and with that, a chance to make 2010 much much better unveils. The year’s turn always gets me anxious.
There’s gonna be 356 fresh days to get creative. Sure, a lot of this time will get pissed away with work, chores and procrastination, but still… All the cool ideas that have been in my head for a while have a new chance to turn into reality, new ones too, and my mind does probably not stop coming up with things I feel the need to make. I’m like a child can’t wait for christmas morning. More so considering that this was one of the worst years in my life.
So what will be under the tree? This children’s book I always wanted to make? The means to make this game I keep dangling in front of me for ages? Is it all wrapped in shiny fun comics and animations? Will there be some fun ligtht web projects hanging from the tree? How much will I learn from whats in there? How much does it get even more fun from what I’ve already learned? Can’t wait to find the fuck out.
This will probably be the last you hear from me this year. I usually hate the holiday season, but this part is always great. So in all honesty:
Happy fucking new Year
I’ve made a really basic Flash tutorial to introduce people to Flash animation. It’s German.
In a nutshell: It’s a homepage.
I wanted something that has the cute web-worthy visuals of Flash without making the frequent mistake of doing a full Flash-site. I think by the contents this would be one of the few examples where a Flash-site would actually be allright, but I wanted all the smooth and familiar handling a proper website gives you, not endless overdone wiggeling and filter effects without any of the convenient browser functions. Also I didn’t want to look like a fucking hypocrite. So all there is is done with HTML, CSS and JavaScript, although there might be one or the other single Flash element added, like a shooting star or whatever.
So here it is. If you must know stuff like what my Newgrounds Profile is, roughly what style of art I usually end up in, who I feel the strong need to link to, where to contact me for hire or – well, homepage-stuff really, this is where you can go. If I’m up to something really cool it will of course be added to my little world.
Cheers to the folks helping me get my head into JavaScript (it’s been a first) and to everyone helped test the site and locate and fix some bugs.
Hope the lot of you can appreciate it. Comments are on this once.
Hey.
thought I’d try Wordpress for a change. So here’s my blog back in action. Haha.
This thing is now officially public and all my friends can have the link. My page will go back online at some point between now and the 28th, which will be my last day in Berlin for the year. Not only is it going online pretty damn soon, it will also fucking rock. And you can’t stop the rock!
I would appreciate if you folks wouldn’t redistribute the link to here too much until my site is on.
Cheers.
